Mercia Business Loans has been deploying funds from the British Business Bank’s NPIF since the fund began in 2017.
In 2024 it was selected as one of nine fund managers to manage two further new British Business Bank mandates in the NPIF II and the MEIF II.
In 2025 the British Business Bank awarded Mercia Business Loans an additional £30million to its existing NPIF II lending mandate, together with an additional year added to the investment period.
