Abbie is an Investment Manager deploying the Midlands Engine Investment Fund II (MEIF II) Debt Fund across South Birmingham, Worcestershire and Herefordshire.
She is focused on supporting SMEs with loans for working capital, expansion and growth.
Previous experience
Joining our team from NatWest, Abbie brings 12 years of experience in financial services. She began her career in Retail Banking at The West Bromwich Building Society before moving to NatWest, where she held a variety of roles including Mortgage Advisor and, most recently, Business Relationship Manager.
In that role she supported 150 businesses across the Midlands, mainly in Birmingham and the Black Country, with their lending requirements. This gave her an excellent understanding of the day-to-day challenges owners face running their own businesses and what is needed to help achieve their growth plans. It also built a strong network of solicitors, brokers and accountants, with whom she remains in regular contact.
