Marie is a Portfolio Manager within the Mercia Business Loans team, supporting small and medium-sized businesses across the West Midlands following investment.
Based in Birmingham, she focuses on working with businesses within the West Midlands debt portfolio, supporting management teams, and managing the ongoing investment relationship.
Marie works as part of the Mercia Business Loans team through Frontier Development Capital (FDC), a wholly owned subsidiary of Mercia Asset Management PLC. Marie Joined FDC in June 2014.
Previous experience
Marie began her banking career with HSBC before moving to Bank of Scotland Corporate, where she worked alongside the Lead Director managing a portfolio of large corporate clients with turnover more than £25 million. She subsequently moved to Bank of Scotland Private Banking, initially leading the Birmingham office credit team before progressing to lead the Regional Credit team, with responsibility across a number of geographical areas. Her extensive experience across corporate and private banking has provided her with a strong background in credit and lending, together with an understanding of the financial needs of businesses at different stages of their development.
Marie holds the CIOBS Diploma in Advanced Specialist Lending.
